Maasai Pastoralists Development Organization (MPDO – LARETO), established in 2002 and registered in 2005, is a non-governmental organization based in Tanzania.
We focus on sustainable land use and resource management, climate change adaptation, and environmental conservation. Our initiatives support economic empowerment, education and capacity building, and income-generating activities for Maasai women and youth.
Committed to gender equality and Maasai cultural preservation, we aim to improve community health and wellness and drive meaningful change in the Maasai pastoral communities.
